Workshop 03: Digital Collage

Ryan Seslow is a multidisciplinary artist and CUNY faculty who guided us in this amazing workshop in May 14 2021. He taught us how to create storytelling projects by using digital collage websites that allow the combination of images, videos, sounds, gifs etc.

Similarly to the other workshops, the intention was to introduce from my window fellows to creative tools that promotes imagination, experimentation and narrative exercise. Using his online digital art hug Net-Art, Ryan Seslow created a special webpage for the From My Window project where the materials and guidelines for the workshop can be found.

We spent more time learning about a very versatile, free and user-friendly plataformt called MMM Page (https://mmm.page/) where you can use all mediums of media art to compose complex images.

After our workshop, three fellows created their own webpages with digital collages that are now part of the From My Window archive. Click below to check their projects.

While it is impossible to recreate our fun and creative experience, Monica Rocha, our webdesigner has created a short recreation space of the collaging bellow where you can move the images from the left side and place into the images on the right side.

Try and Enjoy !!!
